yeah relistening now, i feel this album has a kinda faux-arabian medieval circus vibe and i love it. Still Life, Blackwater Park and My Arms Your Hearse, Morningrise and Orchid were more dead-of-the-nordic-winter peasant village shit. Also Atonement reminds me of Spyro for some weird reason.

Beneath the Mire definitely has a dark theatrical feel to it man ye I feel ya.

i found my old ps1, set it all up, found some of my classic games, even downloaded some ROMs, burned them to disk and relived my childhood, colony wars: red sun, G:Police, Croc, Crash Bandicoot, Colin McCrae's Rally, Porche Challenge, Hercules, Spyro etc. etc.

Crash Bandicoot & Spyro, first cricket & now this? Piglet, you might be new favourite user. I spent far too long trying to free that last blasted dragon on the original Spyro, 79/80 for what felt like forever (if memory serves me correctly).
Back to the album, this is REALLY good so far. Loving 'The Baying of the Hounds' & 'Beneath the Mire'. Want to listen once more all the way through before I rate... average sounds about right so far, between a 4 & 4.5 maybe.

Hercules always managed to beat my ass one way or another. But I remember it fondly, Disney games often came in triple packs with other games like Bug's Life and Mickey's Wild Adventure

Jammed again, sweet record. Think I'm gonna buy the 'Candlelight Years' so I can get into the first 3, is it packaged ok... anyone know? They're the remasters. Already ordered Blackwater. Eventually I'll get physical copies of this & Still Life.
