Yeah, this hits harder the more you listen. Those drone tracks that everyone complains about are incredible.

i rlly should pull out a "boy what you know about drone" but i agree with you so
|
| |
yeah the middle 2 tracks are easily the best imo. If they wholeheartedly adopted it from now on, I'd be kinda happy

I don't know much about drones, I just like the two drone tracks on this

nahhh johnny if they went full drone it wouldn't be the same, it's the seamless juxtaposition of post-rock and drone that makes them exceptional
|
| |
sure but I mean... more drone less post-rock would be my ideal blend for these chaps

honestly i've enjoyed whatever blends they've chosen to brew over the years

"if Earth had released this album everyone would have been all over it and called it AOTY"
How fallacious of you. But yeah, maybe. This is definitely the most unique song they've done with the possible exception of Rockets Fall.
|
| |
yeah the drones were great

I found the first track tedious as hell but the drones were great and piss crowns was up to their usual standard.

I liked the first track, has this really cool psychedelic vibe to it (hence my comment about Earth)

half the time it sounds like they're out of key. at least to me. also thought the transition from minor intro to major outro was really sloppy and not at all well done.
not heard much Earth but I've liked what I've heard far more than peasantry
