How was it? Also I like how he played lazarus. He didn't play that when I saw PT

I was lucky enough to catch them, too. This is the setlist of the gig I saw: http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/porcupine-tree/2007/rock-city-nottingham-england-1bd6cd44.html
Pretty much a flawless performance as well.

Nice, the fact you say it's good makes me tempted to buy tickets but it's so expensive for the London show
I saw them for the FOABP tour aaaaages ago and it was actually the first gig i ever went to. Safe to say that younger me didn't enjoy it as much as I would have now

This might be the best thing that SW has done since Deadwing.

Yall lucky, and yeah his tickets are expensive but definitely worth it. This review I wrote actually helped my getting it for free when the guy on Craigslist saw it. Don't know if I would've been able to go if I hadn't written it.
@Beefshoes: Blank Planet and Storm Corrosion! Other than those agreed though

@Choccy I strongly recommend you to see the show; I haven't seen one from this tour, but the energy is just amazing, definitely even a lot more so in a venue as the Royal Albert Hall. The tickets are quite expansive as you said and I'm not aware of your financial situation, but if you can afford one, it's certainly a brilliant thing to experience.
@Beefshoes he's been realeasing amazing records consistantly with Storm Corrosion, Grace for Drowning, this and The Raven, which are all on at least Deadwing-quality in my opinion.

I hope a live album comes out of this tour, I want to check songs from here and Raven live

I hope we get a live release recorded during the Royal Albert Hall shows - which are set to have two different setlists - at the end of the tour.

Steven Wilson released his entire solo catalogue on streaming services today, which is an interesting decision from the same guy who was blowtorching iPods and mouthing off about Mp3's not too long ago.... Here's a great interview he did recently on it.
|

He sold out

Wow. never buying any of his albums again.

People are really upset about this? If you read at least the first third of the interview, it's clear that he's been very thoughtful and purposeful with this decision. He clearly isn't money-hungry or going along with trends, he's finally conceding to the reality, that if he wants people to hear his music, this is the way he has to go. He held out even longer than the Beatles ffs

Why would anyone get mad at him for releasing his catalogue on streaming services? More people will get to hear him, and it actually sounds like he thought about the whole thing.
