According to this thread, I must be the only one who was pleasantly surprised by their harsh vocals....
Ah... the good ol' days. I first listened to Haken a month before entering uni, in 2013. Such fan times, it was the peak of my prog exploration. I remember downloading their discography and looking to the covers and thinking ''Oh, The Mountain's cover is awesome, but these two I don't like. Maybe I won't like the music as well.''

Well, so far I'm pretty pleased by 2016. Ulver, Steven Wilson, Votum, An Ocean of Void and some more artists have released some really noteworthy material. I'm waiting for Haken and Epica!
