Koloss is to ObZen as Ride the Lightning is to Master of Puppets; they actually reinvented some of the songs from the previous album and just slapped different names on them, and then made everything else sound the same too. Catch-33 > Obzen > Koloss

Koloss' explicit borrowing from ObZen and less solidness than that album doesn't make the band's future look as bright, though. They did the same thing as the album before, but not as effectively, which makes me worried about their future if they continue down the same path without changing styles anymore.
