If music is a finite, defined sonic experience then this fits the definition, but otherwise, this is as close to a non-music album that you can get.
And this is precisely why Sach loves it. He's a miserable fuck who doesn't enjoy music anymore so he pretends to enjoy a non-music album. Outside of that, his only use for music is how it makes him appear on a social level, aka hes the very definition of the term, hipster.

I just checked out that song and--while it's nowhere near as minimalistic or grating on the ears as this--it's still pretty bad. The background instrumentation isn't bad since it's basically (from what I could tell from my laptop speakers) just classical instrumentation used as a droning atmosphere. The repetitive voice(s) that just does the same thing over and over again, though, is a special kind of awful. You can't even let your eyes glaze over and fall into a trance because you keep becoming aware of the annoying ringing sound that is the vocalist.
