Yeah, I have no idea why I felt compelled to make it. Even though I love the style of old AOP records, this is superior in every way.

Nothing else they've done can touch this with a 10 foot pole my friend. Not like they were ever truly bad though.

Yeah, I feel the change in production and shorter song lengths really helped.

They really incorporated a lot of subtle (and not so subtle) industrial, drone and noise elements into their songwriting here, which made their music (somehow) even more atmospheric. It's a really awesome record

Yeah, much like Bosse-de-nage the drums add so much to this record.

and both in very different ways. The drums make the new Bosse sooooo much better it's ridiculous.

Let me know what you think. I'd rank them Scar Sighted > this album > BDN all three are great though.

oh man the new leviathan is so sick, it's one of the most natural sounding black/death mixes i've heard in a long time

God Alone video rules

An yeah, Scar Sighted feels about as organic as anything else I've heard in the last decade. Brilliant.

if it makes sense, it doesn't sound like jef was intentionally trying to blend death and black, that was just the natural result of the music he wrote

aka it fucking rules
