Well this is a little bit more progressive than Axioma so it's possible. Might as well just give it a chance and see what you think.

The last three are all fairly similar. If you don't like that sound you prolly won't dig this either. Can't imagine why someone wouldnt tho

yeah the more i listen to it the more i agree that it is not nearly as good as it could/should have been. AEO is in a different fucking league.

Not as good as Axioma but you can't defeat perfection and this is still an awesome album

It is indeed a great album but I just can't help to notice that it sounds like a black metal Opeth. Some vocal arrangements actually sound like Akerfeld especially on the opener. There are also some rhythm patterns and riffs that remind me of Blackwater Park.

axioma is better, but this a good listen

Death in the Eyes of Dawn and Roots of the Mountain are basically the two best songs Enslaved have ever written though...up there with Neogenesis, Larger Than Time/Heavier Than Night, and As Fire Swept Clean the Earth,

Axioma is blacker!
|

it's definitely blacker.
Awesome album from start to finish, with obvious highlight being roots of the mountain. For me anyways.

Isa is their best. It blended their styles perfectly
