I don't listen to Rush ... well ... at all. And I accidentally came across this piece by pure chance. The first experience was ... well again ... not good at all. The 2nd one better ... the 8th is just like completely different experience. This album gets slowly but confidently under your skin and I must say it is the the Album Of the Year for me. Buy it, give it a few listening sessions and love it. Enjoy the almost perfect sound quality by the way, it is recorded quite old (GOOD) fashioned recording style and LOUDNESS war fighters would be quite happy satisfied here ...
