Yeah, I don't hate this band at all, one of my best friend's always listens to this. They have some great riffs and I would definitely see them live.
It's just I know some fans (not all) hate it when bands try and experiment a bit. An example was when a lot of people were complaining about the synths/orchestral on "King Me" and were saying things along the lines of "This song started out shit with gay ass strings (0:50) but then the true metal finally came in (!:50 onwards) m/"
I just think some people really have dull taste sometimes and refuse bands to ever change slightly, even for the better.

i got some midi demos of the songs. theyre garbage quality cause i wrote them all out note for note in a music program, i was the main songwriter (lul drummer songwriter) and the bassist also wrote some good stuff.
it wasnt even the dicking around, like we would sometimes for shits and gigs but we were all musicians and loved jamming with each other, its just that the guitarists' tastes were so far off from what we wanted. we ended up forming a prog/alt rock band afterward with the same members and wrote some good stuff but again that fell apart when the lead guitarist/band leader got a girlfriend and was poon whipped hard
i wish i could play every instrument and just do everything myself :/

when a friend gets pussy whipped they basically turn into complete strangers, especially if they arent even getting any pussy. in my experience at least.
he just stopped caring and never set up rehearsals or anything and the rest of us couldnt continue ourselves cause he wrote like 80% of the music. plus at that point the bassist and i had graduated high school so we hardly saw them anymore. it just wasnt worth the trouble
