his rapping isn't all that good but it's better than his singing

he's got a droning, nasal voice, which isn't very versatile and has a small range. he doesn't hold a tune very well, though admittedly his singing's improved since the debut

and his singing isn't subpar, lol. He's not an amazingly technical singer but he's pretty good, his singing sets a perfect atmosphere that wouldn't be as good if Trey Songz or someone sang in it and his melodies are AMAAAAZING.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone praising his flow but it isn't awful, just average. There's been times when he's been kind of clunky (beginning of Lord Knows) and times when he's been great (HYFR). And then on times like on Lust for Life, his flow isn't great in a rapper style, but musically (like in the way it goes with the song), it's just so good.
