The Woodpile is classic on their next album too. Both quality albums. Scott was a sensitive soul.

My Backwards Walk never ceases to create an overwhelming sense of anxiety in my chest. It's exhausting to get through, yet I always find myself going back to it. It hasn't yet lost its impact on me, and I don't think I will until I drastically move forward in life. There's a number of these types of songs on this album to that are almost unbearable to listen to, in all of the right ways. So much so that I keep finding myself thinking about this album somewhat regularly. It's beautiful.

Final chorus in Good Arms vs Bad Arms just drops the bottom out after the rest of the song.

I really want to revisit this album but it's hard given what happened. I feel like the more I enjoy it the sadder it'll be

Yeah, listening to Frightened Rabbit is a lot harder than it used to be
Head Rolls Off is wonderful, one of my favorite pieces lyrically, going beyond the break-up feel of a lot of the record and such, into straight up existentialism, and when Scott brogues all over "Something carries on," with the melody, just touches the heartstrings pure.

"My Backwards Walk never ceases to create an overwhelming sense of anxiety in my chest. It's exhausting to get through, yet I always find myself going back to it."
Considering the subject matter of the song, this is probably an unintentionally incredible comment

Also if you've never really sang "you're the shit and I'm knee deep in it" can you really say you've ever lived?
