@Spec - Because his clean vocals are similar to most of the other post-hardcore but he still manages to show some actual technique. That and his vocal melodies are really awesome and unique for the genre.

On another note, I think the reason I like this album so much more than the debut is because this album actually has riffs, whereas their first was way more based around breakdowns. Also the breakdowns here are a lot stronger as well. Haters gonna hate but this these guys are easily one of the better modern post-hardcore bands. Also now with Shayley gone I'm very interested to see if their new album can continue and perhaps build upon the improvement they showed here.

He does the cleans on this? Or was he only on the last album.

Austin did the cleans on one song (and he sounded good actually) but the majority of them are Shayley. I think Austin has the potential to be a good clean vocalist, I just don't know if he can come up with the awesome hooks that Shayley could.

I have that same concern dude, Austin can pull it off but Shayley brought so much to the hooks, he was one of the best parts on their debut, This One's For You shows it on there and My Understandings here. I want him to rejoin, which enough members come and go from this band so it might happen

"Shit metalcore"

Definitely not. That would be Attack Attack, Miss May I, We Came As Romans. This band aren't reinventing the genre but they have enough talent and distinctive sound to set them apart

These guys played the other night with August Burns Red and they were awesome. The guy doing cleans instead of Shayley was eh though

rather cliche sure and some bad songs but not a 2 imo.

Repeating apoligies is sick.
