Where Dead Angel's Lie has been my favorite ever since the first time I heard Dissection. Saw a live video of it and I would've loved to see them. Jon had to go and kill himself.

when I first heard this about 6 years ago I was rather impressed with it, but the complete lack of
depth from song to song made me lose interest over time. it puts all of its chips on the table to awe
you with that first listen but the replay value is nil because every song relies on the same tricks
(to varying degrees of success) and there is absolutely no atmosphere or bite in the production so
it's not like you can dig deeper and enjoy it on any other level.

I'm probably biased towards this album being the first "extreme" metal album I really listened to, but I always thought this was a pretty powerful album. Nights Blood is definitely my favorite but Dead Angels is up there.
