i love house of balloons, especially for how ambitious it is. i actually prefer the glass table girls part. but the song is a little too abrasive and intense, the rest of album is a little more delicate and laid back. it doesn't fit as well as it shoudl

For me it works just fine because all it is is a mix; there's no continuity to be had, it just works as a collection of chill r&b tracks. I prefer the former half, but the segue into "Glass Table Girls" is interesting.

"House of Balloons" is easily my favorite song off of this, and "The Knowing" is a close second. "The Party &The After Party" is stellar too. If I had to pick a weak point, I'd say it's "What You Need".
