""Another thing: the musicians involved were one of the most talented rock musicians of the time (and in fact, of all time) and this album could have never been recorded by amateurs."
LMFAO
literally the most hilariously retarded logic ive ever seen"
You've found a logical statement in this part of my comment. Interesting. I've just stated two facts: 1. the musicians involved were some of the most talented rock musicians of the time (for example some played complicated jazz-fusion with Zappa) and 2. the album could have never been recorded by amateurs (the constant changes of rhythm alone are too complex).
Notice I didn't say "therefore it's good" or anything like that. There was no logical reasoning in the sentence, just stating some facts, so I wonder where you've found any "logic", whether retarded or not. Thanks for trying anyway.

altertide i get where you're coming from but yr dissenter has a point, even if they're a piece of trash smeared with dog shit for using the 'r' word
like this album ponders the question; does 'talent' or 'experience' with an instrument need to manifest itself to create thunderingly powerful music? the answer, seemingly, is 'no' (see also: Polly Bradfield's stellaarrrrr Solo Violin Improvisions'. this album is 'outsider' and could, conceivably, have been recorded by amateurs. part of Beefhearts ethos was collapsing the low art/high art divide. it doesn't change the impact of the album in the slightest, the 'complexity' or 'talent' of the musicians involved is extraneous 2 discussing the album
