to defend my position a bit, I think Clementine is incredibly talented as both a vocalist and lyricist and the fact that they wanted to devote a whole song to his talents doesn't bug me that much (Gorillaz have definitely done that kind of thing before; November Has Come, Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach spring to mind)
if anything the tiny presence of 2D makes his bridge part more attention-grabbing and it is a really nice part
I also think a lot of people maybe just listened to the song on its own and it really needs to be listened to while also watching the video - Benjamin's movements and the creepy-ass puppetry elevate the entire experience a fair bit
essentially my only complaint is how static the beat is, but that feels pretty nitpicky anyway, it's not like this is a hip-hop song. it does what it needs to do
that's me out

Whaaaaat, I love Doncamatic! Though I really thought it was a chick singing.
I also didn't hate Hallelujah Money, but I didn't think it was great either. Seeing as it seems to have been a one-off, I'm still jazzed as hell for the new album.

Vince Staples feature should be interesting...

Track list reads fishy but the backing evidence for it being real is pretty legit. I'm just hoping for some announcement ASAP.
