Crow never gets bad to me. There are like maybe 2 less than stellar (npi) songs on it, imo

it's also their best performance-wise, tbh. Ben Kenny's a beast & Einzeiger just goes crazy on it

Love Hurts is awful. Diamonds and Coal is pretty bad too, but I kinda like Oil and Water.

Love Hurts is ok but it's kinda trite by their standards. They're usually pretty good at doing the more simple love song type deals (Drive, Wish You Were Here, Southern Girl) but that one seemed even more rudimentary. Kinda funny that that's what they consider a "huge evolution" from SCIENCE/Make Yourself, but hey I suppose that would explain the fact that no one likes their shit now

I think it’s the lyrics that pull it from forgettable down to awful. It’s a lyrical cringe fest.

i can definitely cop to it being Einziger's best album, I mean Sick Sad Little World alone p much establishes that. but

the run from Southern Girl to Made for TV is one of the worst in their discog

I'd take most of If Not Now When over any of the songs if I'm keepin it real. Priceless is passable and that's the best of em

No doubt. They were fucking great back in the day. And they were awesome live. Saw them four or five times. You could feel the energy and passion, especially from Brandon. But I saw them again twice in the past 7 years or so and they suck now. Just bland boring. Feels like their hearts aren’t in it anymore— which is reflected in their last few rote, phoned in albums. Really disappointing.

Does anyone else have that certain album that's almost overwhelming to listen to because of where you were and what you were doing when you used to listen to it? This is one of those albums for me. It's almost difficult to listen to nowadays because of how many hard times it got me through and how much the beautiful nostalgia floods my mind

Man this album takes me back when I listen to it. Aqueous Transmission is mesmerizingly beautiful. Too bad they never wrote anything like that song again.

This turned out to be my favorite Incubus album, never knew another album could top S.C.I.N.C.E. for me.
