rating = 4, so definitely nitpicking but this to me is an album that suffers for being from the days when CD was the dominant format and people had 80 minutes to play with instead of vinyl's 40ish minute constraints.
lots of fantastic stuff but after 70 odd minutes some of the songs/riffs blend together a bit for me.

The length of this never bothered me. Even the 'filler' tracks (Half, Kickstand) fit in rather nicely.

s'all bout them fresh tendrils

The length is one of the reasons I prefer Badmotorfinger. Its just easier to sit down and jam

SG had a strange fetish for long albums, something that might explain why there are quite a few people who aren't fans of them.

I just prefer Badmotorfinger's songs in general. Less filler, and plus I've always been into the rawer side of grunge. Some songs on Superunknown just seem a little too polished at times
