in that case my argument was that it doesn't really matter because it's casual speech.

"in that case my argument was that it doesn't really matter because it's casual speech. "

Well, when you're trying to communicate a point to someone, punctuation does matter.

the question mark felt like it killed the rhetoric so I didn't use it

Lame excuse.

I first listened to this album in the anticipation that it really was going to be some sort of 'Dirt' rip-off, in a modernized way. Evidently, this is not the case at all. The songs are still largely mid-paced, and the themes do touch on negative ideas, but what is increasingly new here is the band's penchant for a completely different sound and experimentation. The two longer songs around the 7-minute mark prove this point the best. They do seem to plod on, but it's with a soulless energy that reflects on their 90's sound so much, yet the additional solos and change in tempo make the band's modern sound much closer to alt. metal than anything else. Certainly one of the better comeback albums of the 21st century.

Tracks 1-5 are all goddamn fantastic. I think I'm gonna let my softer, depressed self loose and say "Your Decision" is my fave from this.

This is a very good cd but I can't stand the single Check My Brain. It seems like another in a long line of songs that name drop california to try and squeeze a little radio airplay.
