Dude I'm making a top 100 just because I can't leave half the albums off. Dude my top my whole top 30 are all 4.5s except Mono and Matthew Good. Maybe its just cause I have really been paying attention this year but there has been as massive amount of fantastic records.

generally albums 4 and up on the year are considered in my top 20, occasionally lesser ones if they've grown on me. top 100 is a bit much lol. also, there's a few 4's i've rated that won't be on my end-of-year list

In the UK. They keep getting played on mtv2. They were guesting on nme last night and played some good songs: johnny cash, prince, stones, dizzee rascal, wu tang, bjork.

Oh righteo. The Temper Trap have actually moved to the U.K on a permanent basis. I guess that's where they believe they will be most popular.



And yeay, that's a nice mix of stuff that they played right there. I guess that goes to back up all those recommended albums I have next to the review. Their influences range far & wide.

A 4 is a CD I enjoy thoroughly. A CD has to really stand out to be a 4.5 and I only have one 5. 3.5 is also enjoyable but I just don't like it enough to be something I'd listen to consistently.

Yeah, that's a fair grouping of comments to your ratings. Although, I can often listen to 3.5's a lot... But there may be something that keeps it from being a 4... Usually inconsistency or simplicity. The former is part of the reason in this case & the other reason is only 10 tracks, with the closer being a bit of a short-changing one.

Yeah, this got a 3.5 because while there are some good tracks and the style is great, it's not something I found myself coming back to after the initial spins in my CD player.
