I was in a mixture of shock and joy. I thought for sure that it would have been taken by the previous music director. But no...this may be a hint that there is a God up in the great big blue place.

Decent album i guess, nothing THAT spectacular. It's pretty innovative and spacey, but if i wanted that i would listen to some Buckethead.

Why, have heard all of Bucketheads discography? Can u really come to that conclusion that Buckethead isn't spacey and innovative without listening to his discography (assuming u havn't)?

I haven't heard all of his discography, but I've heard some of his stuff and it can't touch anything on this album.

Even if Buckethead is "innovative and spacey", these two bands are nothing alike. To insinuate that these two bands were interchageable just wasn't a very smart comparison

He has so many obscure albums that are just so innovative. U really can't come to a conclusion on him without actually listening to a lot of his albums, he ranges from the most ambient of guitar work to the weirdest most frantic paced metal/death metal. Don't get me wrong i'm liking this album.

Buckethead and death metal shouldn't be in the same sentence.

Why not? Check out his album The Cuckoo Clocks From Hell. It's all instrumental and it's not "traditional" death metal in a sense, but it's a very different way of looking at the genre, instrumentally speaking.

The Cuckoo Clocks From Hell has some hints of it. Listen to Descent of the Damned and tell me that.
