I actually used to really hate this woman and all she stood for, and now I love every bit of her.
Poker Face is an atrocious song, or at least the album version (she did a live performance of it with guitars, drums and etc. was pretty damn awesome.)
Yes, she sings about sex. Her songs aren't all "deep", but whatever happened to music that did well at being good dance music and just fun music? I take my music very seriously, and Lady Gaga brings the fun.
I haven't listened to The Fame for a long time, but I'm definitely enjoying it. Paper Gangsta, Brown Eyes, Paparazzi, and so many of these songs are so infectiously catchy and the music is so well done. I still refuse to listen to some songs, hence the 4 stars. I don't know about you, but this woman is genius. I used to think she was just "potential", but that's total BS. Genius.
