Rather than making a comment about Waking the Fallen (which you just took all the fun out of anyway), let me ask this: Given the fact that when bands make another album that's like a previous one it always sucks, why the hell would you want Avenged Sevenfold to do that?

I hear fans all the time saying that a band should make an album just like Previous Album X, and when the band finally does, those same fans bitch about it.

Thats not true Steerpike. A lot of bands in the metal genre go fine without changing their sound as dramatically as Waking the Fallen to City of Evil. They often have their "Previous Album X" and see what they can do to improve on it, not completely change it.

No, I mean why would anyone want them to make Waking the Fallen Part 2? Albums like that always suck.

I hate that guys voice. It's whiny and annoying. I listened to the first five seconds of 'Seize the Day' and skipped the song. That's how bad his voice is.

ehi guys, when I heard this album in first I said: "... not bad..."
but after when I re listen to it I understood that this guys ROCKS!!!!
yeah, ok... matt shadows' voice is not a good voice, but they are great musicians... They have done only three albums, so they can grow up.
Re-listen to it, believe me

Well Erratic maybe you should give it a chance...I dont think 5 seconds of anything could fully justify...

Besides...Seize the Day is an acquired taste...I hated it when I first heard it too.

Hmmm, The Rev is actually a pretty good drummer. Now if only his kick wasn't triggered to hell and back, we'd be in business.
