You just proved your lack of knowledge of Hip-Hop/Rap. It extends beyond Sean Paul and the rest of the stuff they play on TRL.

I rather enjoy them myself. I remember a time when TRL played pre-dominantly pop. This was also around the same time Hanson tried to make a comeback. *sigh*. It's been a long time.

The only Green Day song I care for is "Holiday". That's really about it.This Message Edited On 05.21.06

Really? I found Holiday to be boring and annoying. I only liked Boulevard of Broken Dreams off here. I loved Dookie, though. Long View, When I Come Around, and all of that stuff.

God I hate "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams". I don't know why, but "Holiday" just sort of drew me in.

tscha!

the song is cool... I think they should have released st. jimmy or she's a rebel as singles, they were the best songs on the album.

All I have to say about green day is that the riff to american idiot sounds just like message in a bottle by the police, one section of jesus of suburbia sounds just like summer of 69 and the lyrics to boulevard of broken dreams are completely ripped off of here i go again by whitesnake!!!!!!!!

i noticed that the whole intro of "american idiot" sounds uncannily similar to zebrahead's "rescue me", including the acoustic intro-intro to the distorted intro. and i think MFZB came out before american idiot did. not saying they ripped it off, just saying that it's far from being unique and dangerously close to being plagerism.

Dream theater can play their insrruments better than Green Day, and came out with a better concept album before them. But AI's story is fine. This Message Edited On 05.22.06

wow 46 pages???
anyway, not to sound very offensive, but I haven't seen a green day fan who wasn't in middle school or beginning high school. That's when I truly heard people saying "green day rules." Outside of maybe the tenth, sometimes eleventh grade, I don't really hear people saying they like this band.
This band doesn't look like it is marketed for those age groups, but they seem to be the ones that love green day.
