I fucking love this album, listened to it twice in a row today. I think Still Life may
have a slight edge over this but it's really close. That being said, two of my
previous favorite tracks are starting to grow off me a little (The Drapery Falls and
Bleak) But in return, I'm starting to love The Funeral Portrait more than I have
before. The title track is my favorite Opeth song ever.

However, it is still in my top 20 Opeth songs of all time, says how amazing this

I believe I came across an Opeth interview a few years ago and Akerfeldt said something about this quite possibly happening in the future. I wouldn't get your hopes up though!

Waiting for this to come in the mail. The only Opeth I own is Ghost Reveries so I'm looking forward to this. I plan on getting Still Life also as these three albums are generally regarded as the top 3 Opeth.

Still Life and BwP are Opeth's top 2, but I think My Arms Your Hearse is their third best, it's more consistent than GR and doesn't drag as much. You really can't go wrong with Opeth though, even though I don't particularly care for Damnation.

so i picked this up the other day, not having a huge taste in metal like this........you guys all know that. ..........
anyway simply put, the only thing holding this album back is a lack of songs.....its that good. as my favorites are "Bleak", "The Drapery Falls" and "The Funeral Portrait"........yeah it kicks ass.
