i agree that as a whole roman candle is more consistent (i.e., every song is strong), but condor ave is really the only one that absolutely floors me. basement has a bunch (shooting star, memory lane, fond farewell, coast to coast, and king's crossing might be my favorite elliott song)

that's totally reasonable. i'm with you on king's crossing, that's definitely a top ten for me. but i like the first half or so of roman candle more than any other song on basement, which also has a few tracks (don't go down, for example) that i'm not that fond of
