Yorke works well in a comfortable, homely sort of way, but Bellamy has more force and more control

overall with his falsettos. I'd say Yorke is more emotional but I feel like he's limited when going

high and he falls out sometimes

But for the record, Bellamy's gets annoying faster

Didn't mean to say better, I just believe he's more varied and intact on guitar and piano. There's more influence of classical, grunge, some progressive, so he surfs the genres more which makes for a pretty well-rounded musician. Yorke, I already know what he's going to do. Not saying it's a bad thing, but he's more of an alternative rock/electronic guy.

I think Yorke probably plays a wider range of instruments on radiohead albums, as opposed to mathew bellamy.

I agree, I don't even think Bellamy plays a single instrument on Radiohead

Matt's a much better guitarist and pop-artist than Thom but Thom is still quite obviously the better musician. Radiohead have never had a song as catchy as Muscle Museum or Citizen Erased and they probably never will, but Radiohead are of a vaster talent, that talent being composition. Muse follows Matt, but Radiohead is like a democratic union.

Actually, I'd say the drummer for Muse is better than Radiohead's also.

Nice trolling. Thom Yorke>Matthew Bellamy. But Michael Buble trumps them both

Heh. Honestly though, I think Yorke as a musician is a lot more versatile than Bellamy.

I mean versatile in terms of the instruments he uses like sequencers, guitar, piano, bass, laptop, probably a few more and I guess just the way him(and the rest of radiohead for that matter) approach their music and how post-ok computer their roles aren't quite as defined. Sort of like the way animal collective or massive attack approaches their music.

But seeing as I don't know too much about Matthew Bellamy, he could very well be very similar in that manner.

I think we all need to stop fighting over Thom Yorke and Matt Bellamy. They are both great musicians, and there is no need to say "Thom is better" or "Muse copied Radiohead's sound" (which I frankly don't get, because after Showbiz, Muse sounded totally different).

And just to fuck with people, I will go out on a limb and say Mike Vennart is better :P
