Oh I remember a christmas many, many years ago as a wee lad, where I sneaked away from the adults to see Headbanger's Ball in the next room.

I plugged in my headphones and they played a Sepultura liveshow and it was all great. Until my uncle gave me a shock by grabbing my shoulder and telling me to turn down that noise. Apparently you had to press a headphone button on the tv.

I remember thinking they must have heard at least 3 minutes of Beneath The Remains before they had enough.

haha I myself waited for my parents to go to sleep, before tip toeing back to the kitchen tv, with all the doors shut down, and the tv volume level optimized for listening both in and out of the kitchen.



All this in an era where metal kids were starving for content, but there was so little of it in the tube and/or in hard copy format.
