Master's Apprentices has the most hilarious lack of transition ever. I think it happens six minutes through.

Production could be better. Also A Fair Judgement is noice. But yeah album does feel a little long

Productions not the best but it's also not the worst. Master's Apprentice and Wreath are the best

Same, easily their weakest album imo.

Agreed, Wreath starts out so promisingly then delves into a snoozefest
|
| |
title track and master's apprentice are some of their best tracks though, it's a weird one. a fair judgement isn't too shabby either.
|
| |
Wreath is definitely one the band's most boring songs, way longer than it needs to be.
|
| |
agreed. by the pain i see in others is pretty boring too

Morningrise suffers from the same problem at times
|
| |
Disagree, Morningrise is one of my favourite Opeth albums. The only flaw with that album is that it's a bit disjointed at times, but never boring imo.
|
| |
And I can forgive the disjointed part as the acousitc sections are so damn good on that album.

Each to their own, Orchid needs more love
|

Orchid is awesome. Their first three albums are easily the ones I listen to the most these days.
