I’m starting to jam black metal again after a long time. Not a genre I’ve ever been head over heels for but there are a few select bands I really like. Spectral Lore is probably my favorite, but Darkspace is close

You can ask Hawks, I've been going through a grind of listening to black metal to really get into the genre. I'm still a scrub at most bm/dm and really want to know it well.

I listen to a lot more dm, bm is just harder for me to sit through I guess so I’m pretty selective. There are like 15-20 bm bands that I can say for sure that I really like

I used to say that but as I'm going through this bm journey, I'm beginning to see a lot more to love then I initially thought. I loved dm right away but there's so much out there that I don't remember and need to get reacquainted.
