Kino. Is it true they sound heavier live?

It's really cool to me to see these guys get recognition and love wherever they go. I'm sure the road the last nearly-40 years hasn't always been easy for them. To see a full crowd just rocking out and the lives of the people in the crowd forever changed by the music they made has to be a pretty crazy feeling. I love that for them. Retirement has gotta be near, they've been going for so long...

Oh yeah, I remember when I was a fan of them back in like 2002 they were known in the metal community but definitely not loved nearly as much - and nowhere fucking near as recognizable in the newer music, but today you can hear their influence everywhere

This is a terrible timeline for a lot of reasons, but a great timeline for Meshuggah appreciation

I’ll still stand that this has better production than Koloss even if the approach was different

Yeah Meshuggah has a "lights guy" who is pretty much a permanent member and Idk how he does it.

I heard that. Idk what he does or how he does it, but it was the best band light show I've ever seen and it wasn't even remotely close

OK so it took a while (a couple of years) but this one is now one of my fave Meshuggahs.

Agreed - this honestly took a few years for me to realize how much I fucking love it, but it's my favorite post-obZen Shug

obZen and Catch 33 are still the best though imo
