Nepenthe, Haxprocess, and Marrow are masterful.
Agreed hard with this. And I would add the bonus tracks which are absolutely amazing

The drumming on Haxprocess is soooo good throughout the song, and the guitar solo is even better.

Yeah the guitar solo is pretty amazing, but as I've stated before, the drumming in the entire album is brilliant.

Pyre is amazing and Face in the Snow is really good.
Deliverance and PC are the weakest agreed

Indeed, they must be two of the best bonus songs any band has released.

Does anyone know how to legally obtain the bonus tracks? I have the deluxe edition of the album.

I bought the CD when it came out which included the bonus tracks and I'm pretty sure it was the deluxe edition.
|
| |
Yeah, they're included on the limited cd/dvd edition of the album. They're definitely worth the extra bucks.

My version has the bonus tracks on the DVD, but not on the CD. There was a sheet of paper (that I've now lost) on the inside with a link to a page where I could get MP3's of the bonus tracks (I think it was RoadrunnerRecords.com/HeritageBonusTracks). There was a widget on the page which required me to "validate" the DVD by putting the DVD in my computer, grabbing the DVD icon and dragging it into the widget. I did that and I got the MP3's, but then I later lost the files. When I went back onto the page to re-download them, the widget didn't work properly. Now, when I try to go onto the page, the page doesn't work altogether. Am I out of luck, or is there a new page that they put up in its place?

That's exactly the one. I can rip the audio from the DVD on a flac file, but I don't own the original mp3 versions from the website. I'd send them to you if I could, or if it was a thing around these premises lol

Nah, don't worry about it, man. It's not a huge deal, and I want to get the files legally if I get them at all.
If I really wanted to, I could always make a post on Opeth's Facebook page and see if they can do anything for me. It really doesn't matter that much, though. I don't think I'll bother.
