I think The Question is my favorite, but I really like this one too. It's close. I still haven't gotten around to Eve or the newest one yet for whatever reason.

Eve is a pretty good listen! It was a slow burn for me and it grew to be one of my favs.

This is still my favorite Emery, closely followed by We Are Not Alone. Eve was a very uneven record for me. It had some of their best material to date on it, but it had some truly forgettable and eye rolling material as well.

They just hit some magic on here for me. The albums after this are well done, but I'd rather listen to this three times instead.

Agreed they will never top this. It is one of my favorite all time albums

same
" I still haven't gotten around to Eve or the newest one yet for whatever reason."
Eve is third-best and has some absolutely stunning songs (Streets of Gold into Name Your God is mindblowing), but White Line Fever did basically nothing for me

I'm definitely in the minority here but I prefer both The Question and Eve. I probably like You Were Never Alone and Weak's End as much as this.
"White Line Fever did basically nothing for me"
It has grown on me quite a bit but yeah it's definitely bottom tier Emery. Too much focus on lyrics instead of melodies.

Def my fave Emery

The Question means a lot to 15 year old me. It came out, I saw them live, it was the first time I consciously thought about duo cleans and what they do to make great music. Simply a transcendent album and this album got me obsessed with them.
