same. i find most people who are into music in general are blown away by most underground metal if all they've really heard is the garbage floating at the surface.

Most of my friends who dont like heavy music generally have the same problem , they dont like screaming, growling and i get that from their point of view. Theyre open enough to stuff like Neurosis but find it too dark/bleak. I get it. I find beauty in that bleakness. Allthough I made a few of the watch the last 20 mins of the Amenra dvd (aoerte/ritual) with the live suspension and the whole church of ra on stage and a few of them said it was the greatest thing theyd ever seen. I love that shit when it happnens.

Damn. Hard to imagine such a sagely wizard like him being someone who suffers from mental illness on the daily. Goes to show really anyone can though. I know I do. My respect for him has only grown from that, so thanks for sharing deezer.

Yeah its hit home this one. Especially with the amount of celeb mental illness deaths lately (I know 'celebs' the wrong word) Theres not been many musicians that influential to me in my life and Ive also got to know him over the last few years and my heart fucking breaks that hes going through this shit but hopefully this will help other people who are not dealing well with it.
