they can, if they wanted to, put on a setlist that honestly peaks metal music'

No doubt about it. They kinda did for the 30 year shows. Some of those songs your talking about they never play though. (purify is one of the most requested) They dont play most of TEOES live since it came out For personal reasons and some that you might want to hear because you got into them late theyve been playing for 10/20/30 damn years.

I guarantee Bending light will surprise you live. Im not the biggest fan of that song either but it was huge live. Regardless. These arent 'special shows' Theyre on tour because of a new record. And the next tour will be exactly the same.

Yeah they ended their Maryland Deathfest show a couple years ago with Stones from the Sky. Even got a Scott Kelly mic headbutt 1:01:56 for good measure. Pretty intense show.

Cosmically righteous is a weird way of describing it, haha. Definitely rules though.

I'm think of old wornout war footage reel in a loop. fuckin desolate, wasted, smokey, muddy trenches, used shells and casings, boots & helmets, bodies, debris.

While album conjures up soot and smoke whilst being shot at in the trenches. Whatever you think of this it is a truly damn good record.
