honestly fuck it put "goon squad" up there too. i adore this album's cohesion and imagery it conjures for me, the first couple of tracks feel like you're along for the ride with some unnamed protagonist through a beautiful futuristic city and as the album hits its back half things feel a lot less tangible as the lyrics focus more on the emotions and turmoil of said protag. i can't really explain it all but "rosemary" is pretty much a time warp in song form.

Damn, you speak so eloquently about this album, I wish I felt that way. It's really good, don't get it twisted, but nothing here makes me feel much other than Entombed. Every album before this left way more of an impact.
