The songwriting and arrangements are all pretty much flawless, so yeah it's a 5. If I want to be picky I could say it's more like a 4.8.

Marrow is definitely their most energetic record, maybe their most black metal influenced as well (alongside From Which of this Oak, if were counting demos).

The melodic and structural simplicity get me; I used to think they were a mark of good songwriting but now they seem kinda facile (and it doesn't help that I'm not quite in awe of their admittedly great knack for atmosphere as I used to be)
