I think we've been over this before Doof but wtf, I love I Need My Girl. Sure it's got the weepy vibe that the National haters harp on so much, but the lyrics are as wonderfully devastating as any other National track.

I find this one to be the most accessible record from The National and the one I hear the most, strangely I consider The Boxer and Alligator better than this one.

I don't think it's strange to find Alligator and Boxer better than this (though this is my favorite of theirs). I wouldn't say this is more accessible necessarily, though I guess some of these songs are more traditionally "poppy" than those on most National albums.
