Yeah Daydreaming is amazing but an objectively terrible choice for a single.
In fact almost any other song on this except for Glass Eyes or True Love Waits would probably have been a better single.

the video compliments it nicely and its a better single than burn the witch. i think it works better than most of the other ~chiller~ songs here, kind of has an in rainbows vibe compared to the rest. on first listen it was an infinitely less surprising single than burn the witch, it made sense to me

Daydreaming is definitely better than Nude. I also prefer TLW to Videotape, dem sinister undercurrents and piano polyrhythms. If I were to go through this and IR comparing them tit for tat I think most of songs would end up being equal as I think both are really consistent releases in terms of song quality
