I honestly can't not listen to this in full. Every song is so good that I have a hard time stopping.

yeah like every song is based off of different snippets from one grand poem that runs throughout the whole album, that's as cohesive as it gets. and Compton is technically the last song on GKMC but the narrative stops after the tape stops at the end of Real which ties it into the beginning of Sherane, so that's the real (lol) end.
Honestly of rappers Kendrick's last two albums are the pinnacle of cohesiveness so

I can't understand thinking this album is a regression at all. Like, why not fuck with jazz and funk and soul and all the crazy production on this album? And the lyrics? And the concept? Pure poetry. Good songs are good songs and this is like the best album the mainstream has seen in like A LONG time.
