I like this album and sometimes when I'm listening to it I'm almost tempted to get all hyperbolic about it like most of sputnik, some of it is really fucking good. But I just can't stand how it feels like they're always trying to shove in as many lyrics as possible. Like, I really really really don't like that, pisses me off. I'm not saying I expect a chorus or something but like shit, a two minute song of theirs has like 12 paragraphs of lyrics, and most of them are bullshit.

I agree. Great but severely overrated. Sputnik hive-mind at its greatest right here. I'm not saying EVERYONE or even most people are like this but I just know that if Hanson/chan/the rest of the sputnik elite didn't care about this album most of the "5" ratings would either be much lower or they would have never even listened to this.

I think it's good to have underground albums hyped up. You can bring up the "hive-mind" here all you want, but I think most people still have their own individual opinions on the album. If it took some hype to get people to branch out a little bit, so be it.

yeah I agree with that 100%. the hivemind is not necessarily a bad thing, I actually like how "underground" bands like ctts, off minor, converge etc. get hyped up here. I was just saying, you know?

There is absolutely a hive mind regarding this album. Read through the older parts of this thread and older reviews, anyone who dared questin this album pre MJ got skewered. Atavan wrote a negative review of it and eventually took it down for getting flamed.
