I heard La Dispute's album a while ago. Don't like it nearly as much as this though. I'll give it another listen after I listen to Sit Resist again.

No Hawks its just that everything about the album sucks hard, its pretty simple really. I mean yeah, the vocals are God awful.

I don't think there are any similarities to la dispute in the music at all. I like both bands but they're very very different in my opinion.



I mean I guess I'm "doing it wrong" but I really don't see how the two bands are similar at all other than both being vaguely associated with post-hardcore/emo.

The Moon is a Dead World is my favourite emo album. 50 times better than this overrated piece of mediocrity.

The second half of this record is still really good.
