And b4k I would definitely argue this is their most solid album back to front. Although I think this album is helped by the fact that every single track was produced perfectly to hit just as hard as the one before it. I think YFM actually has their best material but it just doesn't feel like being punched in the face every time a song starts.

I'd say Axe To Fall is. I adore how the first parts all run like a long-form narrative composition because I adore those and they're brief and to-the-point until you get "Worms Will Feed/Rats Will Feast" which is a throwaway. Then the rest of it's fantastic, particularly the last four tracks.

lo-fi is the new high-fi guys. esp. with ambient everything needs to be second long drone glitches.

But I do love the production on this. My friend who hates this kinda music said they really hit the

nail on the head with the grittiness.

ATF is a totally different sound though. This is a lot closer to hardcore than ATF and I just prefer that. I see what you're saying though, the structure of the songs on Axe is really effective. They just make you want more.
