I'm not saying ~zero~ songs on In Rainbows or Kid A work outta context, people cited some great counterexamples (like HTDC which is my fav song of theirs)
But a good chunk of their songs feel weird when taken on their own. Compare to AMSP or Amnesiac where I can jam any song out of context

Disagreed. I can enjoy almost any Radiohead song on its own

Strange argument - can't see why you couldn't enjoy any song on In Rainbows in isolation. That's almost 'The Bends' level of 'just a selection of great songs that happen to be friends'.
'Kid A' I can see your point more

Decks Dark is dope, but whoever described this album as Radiohead doing Coldplay was definitely talking about Identikit.
