I remember having this at 3, and saying that the production sucks. I also had Onward to Golgotha and None So Vile at 3, but a few more listens in i already considered these to be the best death metal albums.

@michal i mean sure, but it varies per album
There are only 2 albums ever that I comfortably 5d after 1 listen: this, and Symbolic. Still 2 of my favorite albums. If I could describe what I felt the first time I heard these 2 albums, it was just being absolutely blown away and overcome with the weight of the greatness of what I was hearing. Like I could go back in time and re-live the first time I jammed like Slowly We Rot by Obituary, sure. Yeah it's a really good album. Or I could experience that feeling of being in absolute awe of what I'm hearing when I first heard this or symbolic?
Which do you think I would choose?
