"I honestly think Collect Calls would have been a pretty dope closer as well"

Agreed, but not as dope as Dying of Thirst imo

I mean, Money Trees has a goat beat and is just straight catchy as fuck, and Peer Pressure is one of the more emotionally devastating tracks on the album

Side note - I don't think he's ever going to be able to go harder than he did on Blacker the Berry. That might be my favorite song of his too.

Think about Kendrick is I don't jam the dude a lot, but when I do fuck you can see why he's cited as revolutionising hip hop.

Probably should have this and Section higher, just don't feel like jamming him all that much for whatever reason.

yeah the way the album ends - the last two tracks - is the reason this isn't a 5 for me, real is the worst song on here by a significant margin and i dont really like compton as a closer

I always wander through the many band pages on this site and see all the old 4.4s and above from past times and wish I was around when they had come out. Never did I think I would witness a modern artist crank out two albums in a row that would each earn a 4.4 on sput. Pretty crazy

I think the absolute orgasm this site had when this initially came out is the reaction you're thinking of
