"At least half the people I've had Floyd conversations with irl, only talk about The Wall and Dark Side" [2]

Not to mention most of them probably haven't even heard either in full.

Well that's because they can;t compare it to any album besides DSOTM. You can't think something is overrated when it's one of your only exposures.

@art dam, lucky! well thats definetly not what its like where i live. Most people who i've encountered who are "Floyd Fans"

have only been exposed to Pink Floyd radio hits. If they ACTUALLY HEARD OTHER floyd albums then their opinion is

definitely valid. However most people don't fit that category unfortunately, most people's favorite floyd(where i live at

least) is the Wall simply because its the only one they've heard.

@art if someone is actually aware of other floyd albums (like you) and think the Wall is best then that is a respectable

opinion. However, I won't accept that opinion from someone who has only heard "another brick in the wall" and "money".

such a typical conversation:

"hey do you like pink floyd?"

"yeah, i'm a big fan of them!"

"sweet, what's your fave album by them?"

"i love that song that goes like 'we don't need no education!'"
