I still love how this album feels like a bunch of unresolved, possibly contradictory unresolved elements--sonically, tonally, etc.--thrown together despite its rap opera (or w/e) ambitions. Still keeps me on my toes as a front-to-back listen. Think that might be what's "missing" from TPAB regardless of how you like that album's sound. I never listen to "Real" though, yeah
