Rodrigo ̶h̶a̶ ̶e̶s̶t̶a̶d̶o̶ fue deportado a Mexico porque estaba actuando como un tonto.

Why can't I say: Rodrigo has been deported?

Great another idiot who thinks I'm from Mexico.

I don't? Hence the Mexico comment. I know you are from Argentina.

In that case it would be: Rodrigo Ha sido deportado.

Is it true that la bombilla means pill in your country

It sounds weird to say estado, but again it depends on the context.

Is it true that la bombilla means pill in your country

In our country Bombilla has 2 meanings

1) A lightbulb

2) The drinking straw in which mate is drinked.

I can't tell you if bombilla is a slang for pill, but those are the 2 main uses for the word.

It's a little bit annoying, but it's not big deal.

Nope, not that I have heard of it in that specific context.

Yes, I can see how it may look grating...

Especially considering that there are a bazillion verb endings, depending on tense, form, etc.

olvidé = I forgot

olvide = he/she/it forgets (subjunctive)

How adorable of you to appropiate words of English origin by adding a suffix. I learnt that in my Portuguese classes.
